March glimmers ✨

March started out at my dog sit (which feels like it was a million years ago now)

The evenings started getting lighter and we’ve seen more sun than we have since last summer 🙏🏻🌞

March has felt like the biggest black cloud has finally been lifted 🙌🏻

March has been about curiosity and stepping back - it’s been about being present, experiencing and exploring.

It’s brought a mixture of emotions -
Elation, excitement, sadness, confusion, hurt, liberation & joy!

It’s been a month of celebrating women!

From Honey’s birthday, International Women’s Day, 3 year anniversary sister circle, seeing my besties and their little ones, topping it off with Mother’s Day 🩷🫶🏻💐

Going to my first paint & sip evening, for a mother, daughter date.

And discovering the most incredible, nostalgic market stall ever, long live Mr Blobby 🤣🙌🏻 iykyk!

One thing I know for sure next month, empowering, inspiring & celebrating women! 🎉 oh, and my birthday 🥰

Let me be clear, we’re not really talking about trains here..👇🏻

But it’s the perfect analogy.

You see, if you got on the wrong train, you wouldn’t stay on it would you?

As soon as you realised you were on the wrong one, you’d get off at the next possible stop right?

So why are you allowing yourself to put up with things that don’t feel good for you?

Why are you allowing people to mistreat you?
Why are you remaining in places that make you want to escape?
For what? For who?

We’ve only got one life, don’t spend it just ‘going with it’ because it feels easier.

Get off the train! And take the journey back home to yourself.

If you feel lost, don’t let that stop you, use satnav (guidance, a coach) have someone show you the way and hold your hand through it.

You don’t wanna look back when you’re 80 years old in the worst possible destination, wishing that you just got off the damn train!

This retreat nearly broke me.. 😳

In 2020, I flew to the other side of the world to Bali, solo, for a retreat that I thought was going to positively change my life..

I was craving soulful connections, expansion, healing and a full soul revival.

A space I could be truly myself, but instead…?

I felt judged, dismissed and like I just didn’t fit in..

And that experience has stayed with me, not as a wound, but as a lesson. A lesson in what a retreat shouldn’t be, and what it could be with the right intention and passion.

I left the retreat in less than 24 hours because it was toxic!
I was shown red flags from the moment I walked in 🚩

5 years ago was when I knew I wanted to hold space for women that was far from what I had experienced.

I found the one 🥹👇🏻

Not that kind of ‘the one’ 🥰 what I mean is, my purpose, my calling.

The audio is very fitting.
I always said, I never had a dream.

Because I’ve never been very good imagining into the future - I spent my whole 20s feeling lost - in the end, my purpose found me!

After a turbulent decade fighting with my mental health, in 2019 things changed.. I took my healing journey into my own hands. Rather than looking outside of myself, I went within.

Early 2020, pre pandemic, I went to a women’s retreat in Bali, a once in a lifetime opportunity and the BIGGEST step out of my comfort zone I have ever taken (and I went solo!)

But the retreat did not live up to expectations.. it was toxic from the moment I stepped foot in the space, I good feel how off the energy was, how inauthentic the host was, I just knew something wasn’t right.

I gave it a chance, but it just got worse, I didn’t last a full 24hrs, despite the £1000s id paid, I left!

From this moment (despite feeling like I’d failed myself at the time) I KNEW holding SAFE, SACRED space for women was something I not only wanted to do, but NEEDED to do.

I could not see another woman go through what I had just experienced.. and that was the start of me becoming the woman I am today.

Guiding women with love, patience, compassion and authenticity, to feel seen, heard, held and supported, back home to their true essence beneath the layers of conditioning.

Yesterday was an incredible and monumental milestone in my journey as an entrepreneur (something I still find difficult calling myself)

But yesterday was special and a huge celebration - marking 3 whole years of holding safe, sacred space for women consecutively each month 🫶🏻✨💕

Something I wouldn’t change for the world.

It has been the biggest gift, honour and pleasure to hold space for women, to feel seen, heard, loved and supported in ways perhaps they’ve never experienced (and never believe existed)

I remember the first ever circle I held, the week prior, I didn’t sleep at all, constantly considering cancelling due to fear, but this is exactly why I didn’t cancel, because fear likes to stop us from perusing our dreams and desires, but fear is just a feeling, and feelings pass.

The only way to allow fear to pass is feeling it and doing it anyway. Because on the other side of fear is LIBERATION!

From that very first circle, there was a wise, passionate woman that came out, and that woman was me.
This is when I knew my soul purpose, my calling.

And I have never looked back.

So if there’s anything you’ve been dreaming of, but letting fear hold you back, this is your sign to do it!
To feel the fear and do it anyway!

Never let fear stop you from living your life.

This might be 3 years, but this is just the beginning! Watch this space!

Doomscrolling every night? I got you!

I know you’re doing it to escape and distract, but girl, it’s doing you more harm than good.

Heal out loud, because silence will break you
(from someone that’s been through it)

Silence almost k|lled me - and I don’t want that for you.

No one should have to feel like they can’t speak up and ask for help (and that means you too!)

Stop suffering. You’re allowed to hurt, it doesn’t make you weak, and it doesn’t make you a burden, it makes you human.

I know what it’s like to suffer in silence, but that’s what almost k|lled me, I had to get to that point before I finally felt like I could ask for help.

Which is why I’m urging you now, wherever you’re at, don’t let it reach that point. Even if you’re just having a bad day. Talk to someone.

You deserve to be heard, you deserve to take up space, you deserve to be seen.

My corner of the internet is a safe space for you to be whoever you want to be, not who you think you ‘should’ be.

Welcome to a day in the life - dog sitting edition 🐶🐾

For the last 2 weeks I’ve been dog sitting for a couple of beautiful cockapoo’s Ruby & Mabel, that are mother and daughter 🥰

It was so nice to have that headspace and an entire house to myself (+ the dogs)

They were so lovely to look after, but it was definitely harder work than I thought it would be (just quite tiring) but I honestly can’t complain 🥹

I signed up to Trusted House Sitters because I’d love to travel further afield (because you can ‘sit’ pretty much anywhere in the world)

It’s such a good way of being able to travel, without the cost of hotels etc..

It was also a step out of my comfort zone, but this is where growth happens. It’s so important to keep stretching it, because complacency is not the place to be.

I got to explore a different area, find a new (incredible) coffee shop which became a daily non-negotiable and treated myself to my nails done at a salon I’d never been to before.

It was good to step out of my usual routine and spend more time being present 🙏🏻

POV: there’s so many things you want to do, but anxiety says NOPE!

I got you girl, but anxiety is a liar.
It’s just your brain trying to protect you from threat (which generally doesn’t exist)

Remember that your thoughts are not fact.

Anxiety holds us back from so many incredible opportunities & experiences in life, for what?

And then you end up spending every waking moment still thinking about it, seeing other people do the things you want to do, but you think it’s impossible for you.

But let me tell you right now (as an anxious girly) you absolutely CAN do the thing!

Sometimes we just have to sit in that discomfort rather than avoid it, because it will always be there otherwise, and overtime will just get more intense.

So allow yourself to feel it.

You might have thoughts like:

“What if I fail?”
“What if I look stupid?”
“What if everything goes wrong?”
“What if they judge me?”

There will always be what ifs, but what if it turns out to be more amazing than you could have ever imagined?

Try and reframe that internal dialogue into one that serves you.

The only way to silence it is to prove it wrong and I know you’re more than capable of doing that! 😘
